Baobab trees are some of the oldest living trees found on Earth. They can withstand droughts and fires and there’s even one that’s estimated to be over 6000 years old!
Eucalyptus trees are native to Australia and produce natural disinfectants which can be toxic in large amounts. Koalas, not surprisingly, have very high tolerance levels which is why it’s also a large part of their diet.
Bamboo is the fastest growing plant on Earth and in 30 years can produce 15 times more material than pine trees.
You can tell the age of a tree by counting its growth rings.These are visible when you cut a tree down and the stump is exposed. You may be pleasantly surprised!
